After your training:
You’ll be working in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of Schiphol Airport. Roll up your sleeves—Schiphol runs day and night, and you’ll feel that energy firsthand. You thrive on action, enjoy a bit of pressure, and love to keep things moving. Because without you, the planes don’t fly!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and environmentally responsibly refueling aircraft, following all safety regulations
• Carefully maneuvering fuel and pump trucks across the airport platform
• Conducting vehicle inspections and performing basic maintenance checks
• Ensuring fuel quality and safety standards are maintained
• Communicating with ground crews and the Planning department to keep operations running smoothly

As an Aircraft Refueler, you’ll mostly work in 8 to 9-hour shifts, primarily starting with day and evening shifts. You’ll drive short distances, making this role more about operational control than long-distance driving—you’re part driver, part process operator.

Below are the requirements you need to meet to start this training program:

• You’ve held a category B driving license for at least 1 year
• You’re available at least 3 days per week
• You’re hands-on and not afraid to get your hands dirty
• You have your own transport (this is a must)
• You can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
• You’re physically fit – a medical check is part of the selection process
