As a Delivery Driver for Albert Heijn Online, you start your shift at the distribution location on Siegentstraat 7 in Zwolle. You collect your handheld scanner, receive your delivery route and check that all grocery crates are complete before carefully loading your delivery van.
Once you're ready, you head out independently to deliver groceries to customers throughout Zwolle and the surrounding area. Every day you visit different neighbourhoods and meet a wide variety of customers. You make sure every order arrives safely, on time and with excellent customer service. If customers have questions about their order or need to make a payment, you assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
During your route, you collect empty crates and returns, verify age-restricted products according to Dutch regulations and report any delivery details through the mobile app. At the end of your shift, you return to the depot, unload your van and discuss any important updates with your supervisor. As you gain experience, you may also have the opportunity to help train new delivery drivers.
What does a typical day look like?
You collect your route, load your van and deliver groceries to customers across the Zwolle area.
Do I need experience?
No. Full training is provided, including three days with an experienced buddy.
What are the working hours?
Morning shifts start at 05:45 and afternoon shifts at 14:00. Your schedule depends on your availability.

- Valid Category B driving licence;
- Available for at least two shifts per week;
- Available for at least two Saturdays each month;
- Able to work morning and/or evening shifts;
- Dutch and/or English speaking;
- Physically fit to lift grocery crates.
