Salaris en arbeidsvoorwaarden
- €17.42 gross per hour from age 21, including holiday pay, additional statutory leave, and ADV allowance;
- 50% extra pay for working between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM;
- 100% extra pay on public holidays;
- 20 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, with a minimum of 10.1 km and a maximum of 35 km one-way;
- Pension accrual after 8 weeks of employment;
- Meal allowance for late shifts;

What will you do as a Jumbo Delivery Driver in Nieuwegein?
Your working day starts at the Jumbo hub in Nieuwegein. Together with your colleagues, you briefly review the schedule before heading out in the well-known yellow Jumbo delivery van. From Nieuwegein, you will drive routes throughout the region, delivering groceries safely and on time to customers at home and business locations.
Busy neighbourhoods, narrow streets or deliveries to higher floors? You stay calm, professional and customer-focused. Thanks to your friendly attitude and reliable service, customers receive their groceries with a smile. After completing your route, you return to the Nieuwegein hub and finish the day together with your team.
You will work flexible shifts averaging 6 to 7 hours per shift, making this job easy to combine with studies, family life or other activities.

You will work flexible shifts between 06:00 AM and 23:00 PM .; - When will I be scheduled?
Your schedule is based on your availability.; - What vehicle will I drive?
You will drive a modern and fully equipped Jumbo delivery van.; - Is the job physically demanding?
You stay active during your shift and regularly lift grocery crates.;
Functie-eisen Delivery driver Jumbo | Flexibel shifts | Utrecht
- Minimum of 6 months in possession of a valid category B driving licence (manual transmission);
- Good command of the Dutch or English language;
- Available at least 2 days per week;
- Available to work at least 1 Saturday every two weeks;
- Available for a minimum period of 6 months;
- Living in or near Utrecht;
- In good physical condition;
- Able to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG);
